- Traffic studies for requested and proposed traffic signals and/or signs
- Signal timing recommendations

- Overall traffic safety within City
- Enforcement of all traffic laws
- Accident response and reporting
- Temporary traffic control due to traffic signal failure or special events
- Notification of problem areas to the Engineering Department for possible solutions
- Development and implemention of the City's Traffic Calming Program
