The Department of Public Works is responsible for providing the following services to the City:
Drainage and stormwater management
Streets, sidewalks, signs, and signals maintenance
Mountain View Lane and Wall Triana Hwy. Drainage Project
Crews will begin a drainage project on the northeast corner of Mountain View Lane and Wall Triana Highway on Thursday, October 30. Work will take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Neighborhood Resurfacing Project
A neighborhood resurfacing program was established as a result of the half-cent sales tax enacted on October 1, 2013. The City Council reserved 25% of the revenue collected by that tax for the purpose of repaving neighborhood roads - a first for the City.
